Each year around November first, I start thinking about Christmas and what I will make for the people that I care about.
Then inevitably I get busy with my shops and my life and then bam! it is December 1st and I haven't even started. This year is no exception. So now my Christmas Crazy starts.
This year, I've taken up weaving and so handwoven items are in my play list along with quilts and leather items, custom printed pillows and embroidered items.
So as my Christmas Crazy gets into full swing, I'm busy from morning until night; weaving, sewing, embroidering, quilting and taking care of my Etsy shops. Although I'm beat by the end of the day, I'm never happier than when I have a bunch of things to make and people to make them for.
So, although I always think, "next year I'll start earlier", I don't think I would have it any other way. I do love to be busy!
